During the day, you'll sail aboard the catamaran yachts Hecate or Astarte (or similar) which effortlessly catch the winds and will coolly and smoothly breeze you between the jewels of the Cyclades, the most famous of all Greek Greek island Groups. No sailing experience is required.

This Aegean Sailing Cruise & Walking Tour includes the Cyclades islands of Paros, Naxos, Santorini, Folegandros, Milos, Kimolos, Sifnos and Antiparos..

The Cyclades are a group of islands within 2 to 3 hours sail of one another  and set in the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Some islands are world famous like Mykonos and a favorite haunt of the international jet-set, while other island gems are less know and less visited.

The name Cyclades – cycle - (Kyklos in Greek) derives from the circle which these islands form around the center of the sacred island of DILOS or Delos, the birthplace of Apollo.

All love the characteristics which these islands have in common – sparkling sea, sun, beautiful scenery and the well known cubistic architecture.

We will “circle” around these fascinating islands in the best way, and you will enjoy an intimate and relaxed style Greek island vacation! Each island has its own unique charm, which you will discover as you explore one by one.

Our experienced English-speaking cruise directors will be at your disposal to arrange your visits in the most convenient way to suit your style.
Your cabins will be used during the day for shower facilities, relaxation, storage for luggage. If you like to overnight onboard –instead of ashore- you can do it, provided you advise us when placing your reservation. All cabins with en-suite facilities!

Dining Aboard and Ashore

Light lunches onboard will consist of tasty food prepared by the crew! Healthy mediterranean diet dishes style Greek dishes such as: salad, bread, olives, feta cheese, fasolada, mousaka or meat. Ouzo and house wine complimentary.

In the evening, its dinner on your own. Here you'll enjoy dining in islands taverns and restaurants with lobsters, grilled fish, meat and island specialties to sample and savour!

The Catamaran Yachts Hecate and/or Astarte ( or similar)

16 meter long with 4-5 cabins, all with private facilities. One skipper / cruise director. Capacity 8-10 guests per yacht. According to the size of the group, we will add another yacht whenever required.

Cyclades Explorer Itinerary

• SAT. Arrive in PAROS by high-speed ferry at noon. Lunch. Meeting and transfer to the pension..
  In the afternoon a 3-hrs tour by coach visiting the island
  Swimming, beach.
• SUN. After breakfast, embark the yacht and sail for NAXOS (3 hrs.30 min.ride), anchorage at the beautiful St.Anna’s beach). Bus tour 3 hrs to visit the inland. Explore the town by foot. Swimming/beach time
• MON. After breakfast sail for SANTORINI (a 6 hrs ride) A 3-hrs tour of the island by coach visiting the Akrotiri excavation, a winery. Swimming/beaches. Walking tour to OIA village. Nigh life.
• TUE. Early morning sail from Santorini to FOLEGANDROS ( 4 hrs 30 min)· Walking trip.
• WED. After breakfast morning sail for MILOS, the island of “Aphrodite of Milos ( 3 hrs 30 min). A 3 hrs bus trip to visit the inland. Walking tour. Swimming/beaches.
• THU. Sail to KIMOLOS (1 hr) and then proceed to SIFNOS ( 2 hrs). Bus tour of 2 hrs. Swimming/beach tour. Explore the little town on foot.
• FRI. In the morning sail for ANTIPAROS (4 hrs), visit and then proceed to PAROS ( 1 hr). Walking tour. Bicycling. Swimming/beaches. Fare-well dinner.
  
• SAT. In the morning after breakfast, end the tour.

(Extension: If you have time, you should not miss the opportunity to visit the island of MYKONOS and then DELOS. Disembarking from Paros you may take the high speed ferry and go to MYKONOS. A 2 nights stay at the RHENIA Bungalows located 3 km. outside the town and near the Tourlos beach will cost @ $200 p.p. including the ferry to Mykonos.)
