Greek Recipe: Broiled Eels

GREEK RECIPE: Broiled Eels

  • 2 lbs eels, skinned and cut into serving pieces
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Mix all ingrediants except eels in a bowl. add eeels and let stand for ten minutes, turning eels over in marinade 2 or 3 times. Place eels on a broiler rack and broil for about 5 minutes. Turn eels over and brush with marinade. Broil for 5 minutesmore or until eels are golden brown. Serve with potatoes and greens. Serves 6.
