GREEK RECIPE: Shrimp with Savory Sauce
Wash Shrimp and place in boiling water to cover. Bring to simmer covered for 15 minutes. Rinse in cold water and remove shells. Remove dark vien on the back of shrimp with the point of a knife. Set aside. Meanwhile heat butter in a pot and sautee onion and garlic until golden. Add all other ingrediants and mix thoroughly and bring to a simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer covered for 10 minutes more. Serve over rice or pasta. Serves 6.
