GREEK RECIPE: Tomatoes Stuffed with Ground Beef
Wash Tomatoes, cut off tops and save. Scoop out seeds and pulp and save for other use. Set shells aside. Knead all the other ingrediants thoroughly in a bowl. Fill shells with the mixture. Shape any leftover mixture into small balls and bake with the stuffed tomatoes. Grease a baking dish and place tomatoes upright within. Place tops over tomatoes and bake in preheated 350° oven for 35 minutes or until tomatoes just start to get soft. Serves 8.
