Transportation Facts
- By Air to Paros: Greek Airlines depart ATH three times daily and in summer more often, to Paros.
- To Paros From Piraeus By Ferry: Summers from Piraeus, 5 or 6 daily , usually
depart 8 am and 2 pm takes @ 5- 6 hrs. depending on route.
- Get there at least an hour early if you go 3rd class to stake out your seat.
- Paros is well connected
with other islands of the Aegean.
- There are many links by ferry and hydrofoil
including: Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Naxos, Syros, Amorgos, Rhodes, Crete, Samos,
Kos, Sikinos, Astypalea, Koufonisi, Folegandros and Andros.
- Be considerate of others and don't lie down on the benches.
- To Parosfrom Rafina by Hydrofoil & Catamaran: In summers, and more sensitive
to high wind restrictions, 1 to 3 depart daily, are faster and cost more (@30EU/
pp).
- Paros Island Bus Service: Paros has good airport and village
bus service departing the port area and is more extensive in summer.
