From the old port, the traditional boat starts the cruise, heading for the islet of Nea Kameni, where the volcano is, and spend 1 hour to visit it. After that, the boat heads for the hot springs, where they have 45 minutes to swim and they are served cold snacks and wine from Santorini. Then they continue for the ports of Armeni and Ammoudi, where they have the chance to take some spectacular photos. From then on they raise the sails and start the music as they head back to the old port. It’s very important to have a light jacket for the way back and comfortable shoes to climb the volcano.
